Strategy Consulting
A company's strategic orientation toward the circular economy affects various levels and domains of a company. For example, product portfolios, business models, investments, sustainability impact, internal processes and work organization, as well as communication and collaboration with stakeholders and partners along the value chain. Fraunhofer CCPE therefore conducts research and develops new methods for collaboration and company-specific process support. The cluster thus positions itself as a solution provider for specifically technical questions on the one hand, and also accompanies systemic challenges in companies with an interdisciplinary 360° perspective.
Strategic orientation toward circular economy influences changes at company level
Fraunhofer CCPE advises and supports in the area of »Business & Transformation«. Economic, ecological and social opportunities and risks of the circular economy are complex and closely linked. A holistic view on principles, technologies, impacts as well as internal and external acceptance is therefore crucial for informed action. Since classical methods reach their limits and new AI tools continuously appear, Fraunhofer CCPE develops suitable approaches and implements them for companies. Results from white and hot spot analyses, roadmaps, scenario workshops, stakeholder dialogues, environmental assessments and action recommendations secure individual transformation paths.
The goal is to support companies in developing and implementing effective circular economy strategies. The Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Circular Plastics Economy (Fraunhofer CCPE) offers the following research services in strategic consulting:
1. Innovation, strategy, and stakeholder workshops: Tailored workshops to support transformation to circular economy.
2. Quantitative and qualitative analyses: Conducting surveys and data collection to generate multi-perspective current state descriptions.
3. Strategic process support: Identifying white spots, hot spots, and creating roadmaps as well as scenarios and stakeholder analyses.
4. Sustainability assessment: Creating life cycle assessments (LCA) for informed ecological decision-making and deriving concrete improvement measures and strategies.
